Till now there are about 30 hotels and resorts along the four beaches of Ngapali, which are occupying the best places.
Northern Ngapali beach is locted near to Ngapali village, where new restaurants and guesthouses have been opened near beach road. On Gaw beach there are still some places for new resorts available and on southern Ngapali beach, all spaces are built with new and renovated resorts, and good small restaurants have opened doors on beach road.
All hotels are struggeling with the fact, that Ngapali is a holiday destination for just half of the year during the dry season. Till now there are too few guests in the summer season, and some hotels and restaurants close. The hotel and resort room rates in Ngapali are quite expensive, cheaper alternatives have recently been opened as guesthouses and lodges, but not directly at he beach.
The future will for sure bring more and more tourists to Ngapali, and then smaller and less expensive family owned resorts and guesthouses will open and the infrastructure will develope massively.
As of 2019 there are already several family owned guesthouses and lodges and an increasing number of small restaurants at te beach road.
